(NASDAQ: FISV), announced today that Marcelo Krebs has joined the company as the Regional Sales Director for Mexico, Central America and Dominican Republic. Due to record sales in the large bank and credit union space in Mexico, Fiserv recently announced the opening of a new office in Mexico, for which Krebs will also be responsible.
Krebs, a 20-year veteran of the financial services industry, has worked for Chase Manhattan Bank, Deutsche Bank, IBM Argentina, Santander Bank, ING Bank, Unisys Sudamericana, and most recently as a senior manager at DMR Consulting and as manager of consulting for the financial sector at Nasoft in Mexico. His accomplishments include directing large implementation projects in banks across Latin America and the Caribbean, including Argentina, Chile, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Mexico, Uruguay, Venezuela and the Bahamas.
Marcelo has been a member of both the Project Management Institute and the Future and Options Market for Argentina, a partner of the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and an Assistant Professor at the University of Buenos Aires.
