Tony Catalfano is Division President, Bank Solutions, Fiserv and is responsible for driving the organisation's growth and directing the overall operation of Fiserv CBS Worldwide's global retail financial services technology and outsourcing business.
An energetic and insightful leader, Tony has 20 years' of global financial industry management and implementation experience in the US, Europe and Asia and a strong background in Deming-based process improvement efforts.
Prior to becoming Division President in May 2005, Tony was President and Chief Operating Officer of Fiserv EFT/CNS, one of the United States' largest providers of electronic funds transfer processing. He joined Fiserv in 2002 as a result of the company's acquisition of Electronic Data Systems Corp.'s (EDS) Consumer Network Services (CNS) business. Tony began his career at EDS in 1989 and was president of the EDS CNS unit from 1999-2002.
Carol Cowan is Vice President, Product Management and Marketing, Bank Solutions, Fiserv and is responsible for company and product positioning and works closely with clients and industry consultants. She has nearly twenty years' experience in product and business development for the banking industry as well as over ten years of retail banking experience, including credit card, product management, development and operations.
Prior to joining Fiserv, she was Vice President of Product Development for Euronet Worldwide, overseeing credit card, wireless and ATM software products. She has also served as vice president of Computer Sciences Corporation (formerly Hogan), responsible for developing risk management systems. She has held executive positions for Credit Card Software (formerly Paysys, now First Data Corp.), and headed loan and card operations for Fleet Bank.
She holds two management degrees from Roger Williams University and has completed graduate studies at Bryant College, The Wharton School and Rollins College.
Lee Kidder joined the Fiserv Corporate Marketing Department in August 2005 in the newly created role of Vice President for Strategic Market Positioning. His responsibilities include providing banking and market analysis, and assisting Fiserv business units in strategic planning, market segmentation, emerging trends and global business opportunities.
From 2002 to 2005 Lee directed TowerGroup's Wholesale Banking research practice, focusing on the strategic impact of technology on banking services for corporate and institutional customers. His principal areas of interest included strategic planning, business process management, commercial lending operations and customer relationship management.
Before joining TowerGroup Lee spent 19 years in senior operations and consulting roles at BankBoston and Fleet Bank. He managed production units in check processing and commercial loan servicing, led numerous systems enhancement and integration efforts, and directed the development of a bank-wide strategic planning process for technology and operations.
Lee and his family are lifelong New Englanders, but relocated to Wisconsin to join Fiserv. He has a BA degree in classics from Yale University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA degree from Harvard. In his spare time Lee enjoys bicycling and fly fishing, and has a keen interest in the history and politics of the American Civil War era.
John Macaluso is Senior Vice President, Solutions and Chief Technology Officer, Bank Solutions, Fiserv and is responsible for directing the the development and delivery of retail financial services technology solutions. This includes directing product strategy, technology development, product and project management, product delivery, testing and support.
John has more than 25 years' experience in the software industry. He has held senior management positions as VP Research and Development for Sunshine State Systems (Fiserv's predecessor) and VP Research and Development for Fiserv Corporate from 1991-1995 where he was responsible for product development for Fiserv Tampa and the company's Unisys based systems. He was also SVP Engineering for Fiserv Integration Solutions in 1996.
Outside the Fiserv group, John spent 2 years as IT Director for the New York Yankees during 1995 and 1996, and worked as Director of Delivery for Kforce consulting. In this capacity he managed consulting practices focused on Oracle, Peoplesoft, Business Process Engineering and Microsoft technologies from 1996 to 2000.
John rejoined Fiserv as CTO of Fiserv Vision in Brookfield from August 2000-2003, taking up his position as CTO with Fiserv in 2004.
Mark P. J. Sievewright, Corporate Senior Vice President - Strategic Marketing, Fiserv
Mark began his career as a banker in the United Kingdom in 1979 when he joined Midland Bank/HSBC. During his 12 years at the bank, Mark held a variety of senior business management and operational roles within the bank's Retail Banking and Card & Payment Services divisions. He was an inaugural member of the bank's Electronic Banking Development Unit. In 1988, Mark was deeply involved in the bank's launch of the UK's first electronic debit card program, "Switch" (now "Maestro"), which quickly became the largest domestic debit card program in the world with record transaction volumes.
In 1991, he joined MasterCard International in Brussels, Belgium and was responsible for Europe-wide marketing, corporate communications, fraud management and business/ IT management. His role covered the full range of card-based payment services including pre-paid, debit, credit and charge cards.
After four years at MasterCard, Mark joined PSI (now NFO/Taylor-Nelson-Sofres), a leading marketing information company specializing in financial services. He was Executive Vice President, International Operations, based in London, and established and grew the firm's international business in Europe, Asia and Latin America. In January 1998, he became President and CEO of the company and relocated to Tampa, Florida.
In March, 2000, following Reuters' acquisition of the TowerGroup, Mark was recruited as President & CEO of the firm. TowerGroup is the leading provider of information technology-related research and advisory services in the US.
Mark joined Fiserv in December, 2004, as Corporate Senior Vice President, Market Development.
Mark was born and educated in Wales, part of the United Kingdom. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He also has Diplomas in Marketing, Business Administration and Human Resources Management. He is married with three children and lives in Massachusetts, USA.
